My roots run deep in the Shuswap.
Google Earth is amazing, and you feel like you can know a place quickly…But nothing beats having footprints in all the corners! I’ve hiked Mt. Ida, waterskied on Shuswap Lake, hopped on my bike and cruised to Fletcher Park, and driven every street and back road. I went to school and graduated here, had my first job at the Shuswap Bakery, and watched many a movie at the Salmar Theater. The changes our area has undergone are countless. Such changes include: my elementary school, North Broadview Elementary, is now situated at the Historical R.J. Haney Heritage Park; Shuswap Bakery is now an engineering company, and the Salmar Theater is now one of two theatres in town and called the Salmar Classic.
What has never changed is the beauty, charm, and friendliness of this community. It is the community I love, grew up in, and have had the privilege of raising my two sons in. What makes the Shuswap important to me? Having a peaceful space to live, enjoying what I do while maintaining a balance of work and leisure, and being around those I love... Living here makes all of this possible.
Since 2007, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients buying and selling properties, and have gained incredibly rewarding experience from each connection along the way. These partnerships have given me the opportunity to meet some truly wonderful people, many of whom have since become neighbours and friends.
In order to continually serve my clients with the best possible skill set, I believe in the importance of lifelong learning, and am constantly looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. In addition to placing significant value on relationships, I also view education with the utmost of importance. In 2002, I received my Bachelor of Arts Associate’s Degree from Okanagan College, in 2007 I completed my Real Estate Licensing Course from University of British Columbia, and from 2008 to 2010 I served as Co-Chairman of the Shuswap Zone for the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board. I actively remain up-to-date in the Real Estate industry by participating in a variety of seminars, courses and educational initiatives, as well as serving as a Director of the Shuswap Zone for the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board. I also write a monthly blog to provide additional insight for my clients and colleagues on what is currently trending in Real Estate and our community. I constantly strive to be the best version of myself in order to most effectively serve my clients and community.
In addition to maintaining exceptional client service, I also strongly believe in giving back to my community by donating to various local charities throughout the Shuswap.
